AMANDA LANE HOME INVASION - We are providing extra patrols to the streets within Willowbrook Farms after the event that occurred recently.  Please have residents call on any suspicious persons or vehicles observed in the subdivision during daytime or nighttime hours. 

ATTEMPTED FRAUD VIA TELEPHONE CONTACT - The Novi Police Department continues to receive reports of attempted and completed fraud involving subjects calling residents attempting to swindle money from them using the theme that a person owes the United Stated Internal Revenue Service (IRS) a certain amount of money.   Please spread the word that at no time due authentic agents from the IRS call citizens requesting money owed to them.   Do not give the caller on the phone any personal information and simply disconnect the phone call.  

NEW 'VOLUNTEERS IN PUBLIC SAFETY' (VIPS) PROGRAM AND ADDED BONUS -  For interested Novi residents who wish to volunteer and assist with the safety of the City - if a resident volunteers a minimum of 10 hours with the VIPS program, he or she will be eligible for a free Civilian Pistol Safety Class via the Novi Police Department (next class is November 5th).  Please click on this link for further information and if there are any questions please contact Sgt.
